Using merino prefelted sheets is a wonderful way to get straight to design without all the laying out of loose fibres.
Using mid weight sheets of prefelt, students will design and felt a colourful project by cutting, layering, and felting the sheets.
Prefelt lends itself to unlimited designs, whether pictorial or abstract.
Once felted, your "canvas" can be further embellished by beading, stitching or further cutting.
The technique is simple, forgiving and freeing.
